We are actively hiring Mason Laborers and Skilled Masons for upcoming projects through the end of the year. We currently have multiple contracts to install brick wall/foundations in multiple states (Iowa, Indiana, Ohio) with Menards home improvement stores.
Skilled Mason: $23.00 - $28.00/HR
We’re looking for motivated and hard-working skilled masons in order to meet our construction schedule who have previous experience installing CMU. We use a 12 inch CMU brick block for installing the walls and foundations of buildings.
Some experience installing CMU (12 inch brick block) is a must. Must be willing to travel for weeks at a time from job site to job site. Blackrock covers all lodging (hotel w/ kitchen) while on the job site, as well as pays a per diem of $25 per day. Tools are provided on the job site. We use state of the art equipment to maximize worker efficiency and avoid burnout.
Bilingual with the ability to speak English and Spanish is a huge plus.
Must have valid drivers license and reliable transportation to get from job site to job site.
Guaranteed 40 hour work weeks. Time and half paid for overtime work. Work is Monday - Friday with some Saturday hours.

Must be able maintain a professional work appearance.
Ability to stand and walk for up to 10 hours per day.

Description:
Responsible for a variety of duties including but not limited to installing CMU, Install cinder block for structures and walls, setting forms, installing rebar or mesh wire, mold expansion joints and edges, apply sealants, spread mortar, level and smooth concrete, etc. Ability and/or willingness to enhance skills and knowledge for growth within our organization.
Will receive Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) training
